The Scan app features an Offline Queue that allows users to store scans offline and send them to the Salesforce Scanning Queue or save them as a Contact or Lead when back online.

When a user is offline and performs a scan or makes a manual entry, the entry gets sent to the Offline Queue. When the user is back online they can send the scan to the Scanning Queue or save it as a Lead or Contact.
