AI Option

The AI option in the Scan app uses artificial intelligence to improve the accuracy of OCR results on your device. This helps you process business cards and event badges more accurately and efficiently, reducing the need for manual corrections.

To access the feature in the Scan app, you must activate the "Enable AI" option in Salesforce. More information can be found here.

How it Works

The AI option leverages artificial intelligence to map business card and event badge scan results, often delivering more accurate results than on-device Optical Character Recognition (OCR) alone. Once you scan a business card or event badge, the AI automatically maps the OCR results for you.

Note: An internet connection is required to use the AI option.
