OCR Results Screen
After a scan is completed, the OCR results appear on the OCR results screen, showing the text recognized by the on-device OCR. If AI is enabled, the system automatically maps the recognized text to the correct fields, making data entry more efficient and reducing the need for manual corrections.
The OCR results screen lets you review the on-device OCR results and make any necessary updates. By default, the standard page layout is used, but custom page layouts can be enabled through the Mobile Scan Builder. Once you've reviewed the OCR results, you can proceed to the Destination screen.
To edit OCR results:
- Tap the field you want to update. Depending on the field type, the process may vary. For example, tapping number or text fields will take you to an edit screen, while picklists and checkboxes can be updated directly from the OCR results screen.
- On the edit screen, input a new value by selecting from the list of OCR results, or tap the text box at the top of the screen and input a value manually.
- When you’re done, tap the “Save” icon at the top right of the screen
