Save to Pardot

Enable Pardot Integration in Salesforce


To enable Pardot:

  1. Go into your Salesforce Setup
  2. From the Quick Find search bar, type in "Business Unit Setup".
  3. Locate your Business Unit ID and copy the ID.
  4. From the Quick Find search bar, type "Custom Settings".
  5. Locate "eContacts Settings" and click "Manage".
  6. Click "Edit".
  7. Paste your Business Unit ID in the "Busines Unit Id" field.
  8. Click "Save".

Enable the Save to Pardot Option


To save a prospect from the Mobile Scan app, the option must be enabled in the Mobile Scan Builder. To enable "Save to Pardot":

  1. Click the app launcher.
  2. Search for "Mobile Scan Builder".
  3. Click "Mobile Scan Builder - Lightning".
  4. Go to the "Options" tab.
  5. Under the "Destination Page" category, ensure the "Hide Save to Pardot" option isn't selected. If so, unselect it.
  6. Click "Save".

Note: For the change to take effect, Scan app users must either refresh their app settings or restart the app.

In the Scan Application


When users perform a scan, review the results, and move on to the 'Destination' screen, they'll find the option to save the scan as a prospect. This feature is exclusively available when using the on-device scan results (i.e. clicking "Continue to OCR" after capturing their image).

After saving the scan as a prospect, it will be visible in the Account Engagement app under "Prospects".
