Introduction


Custom page layouts give you the flexibility to arrange fields in the Scan app according to your preferences, allowing for a more tailored user experience. There are three types of custom page layouts you can work with:

  • Custom Page Layouts: These layouts are used for the Lead and Contact OCR pages, where you can decide the order in which fields appear, making it easier to capture and review information as it’s scanned.
  • Custom Enhancement Layouts: These apply to the Task, Event, and Case enhancement pages, giving you control over how fields are organized and displayed, ensuring that the most relevant information is front and center.
  • Custom Event Layouts: These are designed for the event Lead and Contact pages, allowing you to customize the layout specifically for events, so the fields are arranged in a way that suits your workflow.

Once enabled in the Mobile Scan Builder, these custom layouts will be reflected in the Scan app.

Note: When custom page layouts are enabled, on-device OCR in the Scan app is unavailable offline. Users should add scans to the Offline Queue and send them to the Scanning Queue when they are back online.
