Scan Image Lighting Web Component

The Scan Image Lightning Web Component shows the business card scanned business card image, the consent signature, and any photos added using the 2nd photo enhancement. The Scan Image Lightning Web Component can be added to the Lead and Contact pages using the Lighting App Builder.

The Scan Image Component can be used to display scanned business card images and signatures instead of adding them via Page Layouts.

How to Add the Scan Item Component to the Lead Page

Step 1: Go to the Lightning App Builder

1. Open a Lead Record.
2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and click "Edit Page" to open the Lighting App Builder.

Step 2: Lightning App Builder Interface

• Canvas: The central area where you can see a preview of your current page layout.
• Components Panel: Located on the left side, this panel lists all the components you can add to your page.
• Properties Panel: On the right, this panel allows you to configure the selected component's properties and settings.

Step 3: Add the Scan Image Component to the Lead Page

• Search the Components panel on the left to find the Scan Image Component.

• Click and drag the Scan Image Component from the Components panel to the area of the page where you want it to appear. The Canvas will highlight areas where you can drop the component.

Step 4: Save and Activate Your Changes

1. Click the "Save" button to apply the changes.
2. If necessary click the "Activate" button to set this page version as the new default for the Lead page. You might be prompted to assign the page to specific apps, record types, or profiles.
   

How to add the Scan Image Component to the Contact Page
