Consent Settings


You can find the consent settings in the Mobile Scan Builder under the Consent Settings tab.

Under the Consent Settings section, there are two options: Consent Purpose Statements, for creating or editing statements, and Consent Button Text, which allows you to customize the text displayed on the Accept and Decline buttons in the Scan App.



Add a new Consent Purpose Statement


1. Go to the Consent Purpose Statements Section

• Click the “New” button.

2. Enter the Details

• A new Consent Purpose Statement record will appear.

• Type the statement into the Purpose textbox.

• Check the Active checkbox.

3. Save the Statement

• Click “Save” to create the consent purpose statement.

  • A success message will appear at the top of the Mobile Scan Builder to confirm that the new Consent Purpose Statement has been successfully created.

4. Confirm Your Changes

• After creating the statement, click the “Save” button at the bottom of the Mobile Scan Builder to confirm the changes.

  • After clicking "Save," a success message will appear, along with a reminder to refresh the Scan app's settings for the update to take effect.

5. Confirm in the Scan App

• The new consent purpose statement will now appear in the Signature enhancement of the Scan app.



Add the Consents Related List to the Contact Page Layout


To view the associated Consent response with a Contact, you must add the "Consents" related list to the Contact page layout.

To add the "Consents" related list to the Contact object:

1. Go to the Contact Object

• In the Object Manager, find and select “Contact.”

2. Edit the Page Layout

• Click on “Page Layouts” under the Contact object.

• Choose the page layout you want to edit (e.g., “Contact Layout”).

3. Add the Related List

• Scroll down to the Related Lists section in the page layout editor.

• Find “Consents” in the list of related lists.

• Drag and drop the “Consents” related list to the desired location on the page layout.

4. Save the Page Layout

• Click “Save” at the top of the page layout editor.



Add the Consents Related List to the Lead Object


To view the associated Consent response with a Lead, you must add the "Consents" related list to the Lead page layout.

To add the "Consents" related list to the Lead object:

1. Go to the Lead Object

• In the Object Manager, find and select “Lead.”

2. Edit the Page Layout

• Click on “Page Layouts” under the Lead object.

• Choose the page layout you want to edit (e.g., “Lead Layout”).

3. Add the Related List

• Scroll down to the Related Lists section in the page layout editor.

• Find “Consents” in the list of related lists.

• Drag and drop the “Consents” related list to the desired location on the page layout.

4. Save the Page Layout

• Click “Save” at the top of the page layout editor.
