Scanning to the Salesforce Queue

Scanning to Salesforce Scanning Queue requires the Vision-e Scan AppExchange package.

SENDING TO THE SCANNING QUEUE

  1. Follow the instructions in the Implementation Guide lesson, including assigning Permission Sets.
  2. After logging into your Salesforce org with the Vision-e Scan mobile app, click the Scan or Capture button.
  3. Select and take a picture of the business card or badge.
  4. You have the option to rotate the image.
  5. Click the "Save to Salesforce" button to send to the Salesforce Scanning Queue. If you do not see the Save to Salesforce button on this page then you have a permission configuration in your Salesforce org that will need completed.
  6. View the image in your Salesforce Scanning Queue tab.

Lesson Summary

To scan and send images to the Salesforce Scanning Queue, you will need to download and install the Vision-e Scan AppExchange package.

Follow these steps to send an image to the Scanning Queue:

  1. Login to your Salesforce org using the Vision-e Scan mobile app.
  2. Click the Scan or Capture button.
  3. Select and take a picture of the business card or badge.
  4. Optionally, you can rotate the image if needed.
  5. Click the "Save to Salesforce" button to send the image to the Salesforce Scanning Queue.
  6. Go to the Salesforce Scanning Queue tab to view the image.
